Scouring Palm Brushes are made with bamboo handles and tough sisal bristles for cleaning jobs that require a good abrasive scrub.

This brush works well for more than just dishes, pots and pans! Use for jobs all throughout the house including the bathroom and outdoors, for cleaning hearty vegetables like carrots and potatoes, or anything that needs a good scrub.

Please note: Scouring Brushes are generally too abrasive to use regularly with the Solid Dish Soap. Choose the softer bristled All Purpose Palm Brush or Dish Brush instead.

Allow brushes to air dry between uses. Store with bristles down and avoid letting the bamboo sit in water.

For a deep clean, soak the bristles of the brush and where they attach into the bamboo in white vinegar for 30 minutes or so (optional: add a little soap to the vinegar). Rinse with hot water, shake off excess water and air dry with the bristle end down. Signs of age are natural.

At the end of life, these brushes are compostable or recyclable in your municipal yard waste or scrap wood program, green bin collection, by burying them in your garden or tossing them in your backyard compost.
