Bamboo is a rapidly growing, incredibly strong plant with antibacterial properties. It is an abundant renewable resource.
Allow the scraper to air dry between uses and avoid letting it rest in water.
To clean, hand wash in hot, soapy water, then wipe dry. Do not wash in the dishwasher.
To extend its life, smooth away signs of wear by lightly sanding with a fine grain sandpaper and, if desired, revive the natural shine with a natural oil.
At the end of life, these scrapers are compostable in your green bin collection, by burying them in your garden or tossing them in your backyard compost.
